Import Excel events

Put one event per row on the first worksheet, with these headings in the first row:

Example Excel rows
DateTimeCountLabel
2025-10-0407:00110,000Mass Ascension
2025-10-0418:3045,000Balloon Glow
Date
An Excel date, or text such as 2025-01-12 or 12.1.2025.
Time
An Excel time, or text such as 18:00 or 18.30. Optional if the date already includes the time.
Count
Optional. A number, such as visitors; rows at the same date, time and label are added together. Without it, each row counts as one.
Label
Optional. A name shown with the event.

Other headings work too — you can match the columns in the next step.

Download the example workbook: the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, launched at first light and lit up again at dusk, and the solstice sunrise at Stonehenge. Import a sheet and view it in Albuquerque or Amesbury to see how much of each crowd came in golden hour.
